After the winter some house plants may not look their best. Examine them carefully to decide whether they can be rejuvenated by treatment during the coming spring, or whether they are better discarded and replace. Among those likely to look poorly after the winter, and which are almost impossible to bring into attractive shape again, are codiaeums and dracaenas. Most other overgrown house plants can be pruned and re-potted into larger containers to give them a good start before active growth begins. Or give the plants a top dressing of good soil. |
